Taj Palace, New Delhi has appointed Samrat Datta as its General Manager. A graduate from IHM Kolkata, he also successfully completed the GM Development Program at IIM Ahmedabad and Nanyang University, Singapore. He has been awarded the Brand Leadership award in 2017. Datta has moved to this role from Taj Bengal, Kolkata. Prior to that he was the General Manager at Taj Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur when under his leadership the hotel won the Ministry of Tourism’s Incredible India award in 2010 India’s Best 5 Star Hotel. He has also worked globally with some various international brands.
