Twenty-four guests and 14 staff members had suffered vomiting and diarrhoea, thought to have been caused by the bug, According to the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Two guests were admitted to Gartnavel General Hospital on Sunday. They are expected to make a full recovery.
An investigation into the outbreak at the five-star hotel has already started.
A Hilton Worldwide spokesperson said: “In response to the suspected viral infection Hilton Glasgow is following its own strict health and safety procedures, as well as working closely with the local health officials, and is providing all possible assistance to the hotel’s guests and team members.”
Seven guests with symptoms, who did not need hospital treatment, were asked to stay in their rooms at the five-star hotel in an effort try to contain the outbreak.
The other 15 guests with symptoms are now well and have left the hotel.
