A Warm Welcome
From the moment we arrived at ibis World Trade Centre, the hospitality was evident in every interaction. Hotel Manager, ibis One Central, Maria Fernanda, and Julidynne Binua, Director of Rooms, Novotel World Trade Centre and ibis World Trade Centre, greeted us with genuine warmth, their attentiveness and cheerful demeanor making us feel truly special.
The team’s hospitality extended far beyond the welcome. Throughout our stay, staff members anticipated our needs and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From arranging seamless city tours to offering personalized dining recommendations, their thoughtful gestures made every moment special. Maria’s personable nature and Dynne’s meticulous attention to detail set a gold standard for guest service.
A Classy Renovation
The hotel, though built 20 years ago, has been thoughtfully renovated to reflect modern aesthetics. Its interiors exude a rustic charm with light, airy spaces adorned with wooden and cane furniture, swing chairs, and cozy corners that invite relaxation.
The rooms at ibis World Trade Centre are a masterclass in smart design. Decorated in earthy tones with timber floors, they exude an understated elegance. We stayed in a Standard Double room, where the modular layout made clever use of space, and the plush Sweet Bed™ by ibis guaranteed restful nights.

Connectivity and comfort were evident everywhere, from the ergonomic workspace to the large smart TV. The rain shower in the pristine, white-tiled bathroom offered a refreshing start to the day, while blackout blinds ensured peaceful sleep amid the city’s buzz. Whether you’re in a Double or a Twin room, ibis caters seamlessly to solo travellers, couples, and friends.
Dining Delights
Dining at ibis World Trade Centre is an experience to savour. The hotel houses two standout restaurants – Twine and Planet Terra. Twine offers a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired menu that transports your taste buds to the coasts of Spain, Italy, and Greece. Each dish feels like a culinary narrative, crafted with passion and authenticity.
Planet Terra, on the other hand, is a vegan oasis in the heart of Dubai’s business hub. We enjoyed delightful plant-based meals here. It’s rare to find a vegan restaurant in such a setting, but the demand for sustainable dining options is evident, and Planet Terra rises to the occasion beautifully.

The dining experience was enhanced by the staff, whose enthusiasm and knowledge added a personal touch. From expertly pairing dishes with beverages to customizing our meals to suit dietary preferences, they made every meal memorable.
Unwind and Rejuvenate
Relaxation is taken seriously at ibis World Trade Centre. Guests can enjoy treatments at the soothing Soi Royaume Spa or indulge in the amenities of the nearby Novotel World Trade Centre, including an outdoor pool, spa, sauna, and steam rooms – all just a five-minute walk away.
For adventure seekers, the hotel’s travel desk can organize activities like desert safaris, water sports, and more. Our stay included a thrilling Desert Safari Adventure, complete with dune bashing, camel rides, and a BBQ dinner under the stars – a quintessential Dubai experience.
Curated Experiences with a Personal Touch
The team at ibis excels in crafting memorable experiences. During our stay, we joined a cocktail-making workshop led by Kiran Ramsaran, Cluster Culinary Director. The session was not only fun but also educational, as we learned to make sustainable cocktails – a nod to ibis’s commitment to innovation and sustainability.
Exploring Dubai’s landmarks was made effortless thanks to the hotel’s central location. From the awe-inspiring Dubai Frame, where you can glimpse both the old and new city, to the towering Burj Khalifa and sprawling Dubai Mall, each destination was just a short trip away. What stood out was the hotel staff’s careful planning and attention to detail, ensuring every outing was smooth and stress-free.
Celebrating 50 Years of ibis
This year marks a milestone for ibis, and the hotel celebrated its 50th anniversary with the launch of the global “Go Get It” campaign. The campaign highlights the diverse reasons people travel and the brand’s enduring commitment to making travel accessible to all. At ibis World Trade Centre, this philosophy is evident in every detail, from its affordable rates to the thoughtful services and curated activities.

Our time at ibis World Trade Centre was a seamless blend of comfort, exploration, and unparalleled hospitality. The dedication of the staff, led by Maria and Dynne, elevated our stay to something truly special. Their warm smiles, proactive assistance, and genuine care for guests left an indelible mark.
