The Fern Hotels & Resorts successfully conducted “When Blue Meets Green”, a Pan-India coastal clean-up initiative across its properties located along India’s coastal belt.
As part of this initiative, eight Fern properties participated in the drive, collectively collecting 630 kilograms of waste from nearby beaches and coastal areas. The activity aimed to contribute meaningfully to preserving India’s marine ecosystems while raising awareness around responsible tourism and environmental conservation.
Participation across Fern properties
The clean-up drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from hotel associates and volunteers, who came together to remove plastic, packaging materials and other non-biodegradable waste from coastal stretches near the participating properties.
Leadership perspective on sustainability
Speaking about the initiative, Suhail Kannampilly, Managing Director, The Fern Hotels & Resorts said: “At the Fern Hotels & Resorts, sustainability is at the heart of our operations. ‘When Blue Meets Green’ reflects our commitment to protecting the natural environments that surround our properties while encouraging responsible tourism practices.
