Della Leaders Club hosted an intimate tribute event on the evening of 29th October at Della Tower in Mumbai, celebrating the inspirational legacy of Sir Ratan Naval Tata, former Chairman of Tata Group. Spearheaded by Jimmy Mistry, Founder of Della Group, the tribute featured compelling insights from notable speakers, including Harish Bhat, Board Advisor and Director of Tata Group; R Gopalakrishnan, former Director of Tata Sons; and renowned author and former diplomat Amish Tripathi.
The event included the unveiling of a portrait of Ratan Tata by a renowned artist, followed by a special diya-lighting ceremony as a symbol of remembrance and respect. The evening celebrated the industrialist-philanthropist’s visionary leadership and the enduring influence of his values, which continue to inspire countless individuals and organizations. Distinguished speakers shared personal memories and insights, commemorating the profound impact he had on the community.
Sharing a glimpse into how Ratan Tata inspired several entrepreneurs like him, Jimmy Mistry, Founder of Della Group, said, “I don’t think that men like Ratan Tata are going to be made anymore. A legend who lived amidst us, a legend for an exemplary life to teach us what humility and humbleness can be at its true pinnacle.”
