ITC Hotels crosses 150-hotel milestone as expansion accelerates

Room revenue rises 12% and EBITDA margin stands at 39% as weddings, MICE and premium demand stay strong.

ITC Hotels’ Q3 performance was driven by strong revenue growth supported by higher occupancy and ADR across key markets. The company released its financial statement, highlights of which are given below. Targeted digital distribution initiatives, strategic campaigns, and loyalty-led programs helped scale revenues across important locations, the company said.

Room revenue up 12% led by corporate, weddings and MICE

Room revenue during the quarter grew by 12%, driven by strong performance across Corporate, Wedding and MICE segments. Average Daily Rate (ADR) grew 9% and occupancy expanded by 290 basis points, resulting in overall consolidated RevPAR growth of 13%. The company also maintained a RevPAR premium of 48% over the industry, reflecting strong brand standing and consistent service standards.

F&B revenue rises 8% driven by banqueting strength

Food and Beverage revenue grew 8% in Q3, led primarily by banqueting and strong momentum across weddings and corporate events. The business continued to strengthen guest engagement through innovative culinary offerings and elevated dining experiences.

EBITDA margin at 39% with improved operating leverage

EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 39%, expanding by 110 basis points on a comparable basis. Margin improvement was supported by growth in Rooms and F&B, higher management fees, ongoing cost optimisation measures, and favourable operating leverage.

Renovations completed to strengthen guest experience

Active Asset Management remained a key part of the company’s strategy. By early October, planned renovations across key properties were completed. These upgrades are designed to elevate guest experience, improve product quality, refresh amenities, and introduce contemporary design enhancements to drive higher realisations.

Colombo mixed-use development scales; apartment handover begins

ITC Ratnadipa along with Sapphire Residences in Colombo, Sri Lanka continued to scale strongly. The hotel sustained market leadership in RevPAR and turned EBITDA positive for the nine-month period ended 31 December 2025. The project also achieved a significant milestone with the commencement of apartment handovers during the quarter, reflecting progress under the residential segment.

Sri Lanka’s economy recorded broad-based expansion, with Real GDP growth of 5.4% in Q2 FY26 and inflation remaining low at 2.1% during Oct–Dec 2025. Tourism also showed strong momentum, with foreign tourist arrivals reaching 2.4 million in CY2025.

New premium 5-star hotel planned at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka

India International Convention and Exhibition Centre Limited (IICC Ltd) allotted a land parcel at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi to the company for development and operation of a premium 5-star hotel on a 91-year lease. The hotel will feature contemporary banqueting facilities and signature cuisine offerings, supporting Yashobhoomi’s positioning as a global conventions and marquee events destination. Construction is expected to be completed by 2030.

Expansion accelerates with 150+ operational hotels and 14,000+ keys

Aligned to its Asset-Right strategy, the company continues to partner with asset owners to expand across Tier-II and Tier-III cities where demand for premium hospitality is rising. During the quarter, new hotels were opened in Bodh Gaya, Rishikesh, Siliguri, Sirmaur, Dungarpur and Jaipur.

During CY2025, the company signed 28 hotels with 2,790 keys, reflecting 26% growth over CY2024. It also crossed a key milestone of 150 operational hotels with 14,000+ keys during the quarter.

Sustainability leadership strengthened with global recognition

During the quarter, the company was recognised as the World’s Leading Sustainable Organisation and the World’s Leading Sustainable Employer at the World Sustainable Travel & Hospitality Awards 2025. ITC Narmada, Ahmedabad and Welcomhotel Bhubaneswar also achieved LEED Zero Water certification, further reinforcing the company’s sustainability agenda.

ITC Hotels stated that it has the largest number of LEED Platinum certifications in the world as per the US Green Building Council, with 23 hotels holding this top recognition. It also highlighted that ITC Hotels is the first with 12 LEED Zero Carbon certified hotels and 11 LEED Zero Water certified hotels globally as of date.
