Intrepid Travel India unveils its new adventure packages

With its new packages, Intrepid Travel India aims to expand its reach to central India and northeastern states

Intrepid Travel, the world’s largest adventure tourism experience provider’s India office, has launched its adventure packages tailored for the north-eastern states and central India to provide a vibrant experience of rich cultural heritage, wildlife, and scenic beauty of India.

The packages named ‘Premium India Safari’ and ‘India Expedition: Sikkim, Assam, and Nagaland’ were introduced to bring around 12000 inbound adventure travellers from across the world to India in 2024. Each package is led by seasoned experts and tour leaders dedicated to a group of 12–15 people.

Premium India Safari is a 13-day long trip that offers the smells, sights, and sounds of India on a unique wildlife-focused adventure. The activities include a hop on a rickshaw safari through the bird sanctuaries of Keoladeo, an evening boat and nighttime safari in Satpura National Park, and jeep safaris through Bandhavgarh and Panna National Parks. The travellers will get a chance to see the birdlife, deer, flying foxes, leopards, sloth bears, monkeys, tigers, and more.

‘India Expedition: Sikkim, Assam, and Nagaland’ tour package is an expedition of 16 days to the unspoiled wildlife reserves, spectacular wetlands, and rambling mountain villages in northeastern India. This will provide opportunities to learn about the cultures of Sikkim, Assam, and Nagaland. Travellers will explore Kaziranga National Park for the iconic one-horned rhinoceros and will take a winding journey on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway. From the floating villages of Majuli Island to the living root bridge—the handiwork of the Khasi people—this trip will offer a unique side of the country for the visitors.

Speaking about the new packages, Rama Mahendru, Country General Manager, India, Intrepid Travel, said, “We are happy to launch these new packages that will expand our reach in central India and the northeastern states. We are targeting to bring around 12000 travellers to India this year. With each package, we make sure that we dedicate a knowledgeable and experienced leader to each group. Our tour operator currently operates 800 trips in the country as part of its offerings that allow travellers to experience the local culture of the destination.”

In 2023, Intrepid welcomed 7500 travellers to India. Intrepid Travel is committed to offering authentic and immersive travel experiences that showcase the true essence of each destination.
