Developed by Steadfast Capital with design by Buchan and construction by Hickory, Hotel Indigo Melbourne Little Collins features terrace balcony rooms, suites, interconnected spaces, a courtyard, and eclectic dining. Located in the heart of Melbourne’s arts and dining precinct, it offers easy access to business districts, public transport, and major attractions like the NGV, Royal Botanic Gardens, and the MCG, just 21 km from the airport.
Design-led public spaces
Guests are welcomed on Little Collins Street with a concierge-led check-in at the Level 2 reception, framed by bold interiors blending heritage charm with modern design. A striking spiral staircase connects the dining space to upper levels, anchored by a circular bar and a dramatic atrium showcasing Lisa King’s three-storey Cabinet of Curiosities artwork, inspired by Melbourne’s culture and landmarks.

Further nods to the building’s past continue through the hotel’s corridors – room numbers are designed like coins engraved with an E.W. Cole quote, “The world is a book. Those who do not travel read only one page.” Guest rooms are stylish and comfortable, featuring modern amenities from free Wi-Fi to Chromecast-enabled TVs. Guests can choose from standard rooms, premium rooms and suites with views of laneways, internal courtyards and city views, including the iconic Bourke Street Mall. Each room is fitted with a mini bar, featuring libations from local Little Lon Gin Distillery, coffee pod machines and Biology amenities.
