IHCL’S Vivanta Jamshedpur opens its doors

The hotel is strategically situated on Golmuri Road, with each of the 95 well-appointed rooms offering picturesque hill views.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced the opening of a Vivanta hotel in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Located in the heart of the city, the hotel is a seamless blend of contemporary elegance and local tribal heritage.

Speaking on the occasion, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, said, “We are delighted to unveil Vivanta in Jamshedpur, India’s first planned industrial city. Founded by Jamsetji Tata and named after him, Jamshedpur is also known as Tatanagar due to the presence of multiple companies from the Tata Group. This opening will mark the debut of the Vivanta brand and will be IHCL’s second hotel in the city.”

Vivanta Jamshedpur is strategically situated on Golmuri Road, with each of the 95 well-appointed rooms offering picturesque hill views. Guests can indulge in a variety of culinary delights at Mynt, the signature all-day diner; Red Pearl, the Pan-Asian restaurant; and poolside grills at The Grill. The hotel also houses a chic bar, Wink, that serves exotic cocktails. The wellness facilities include a gymnasium and a rooftop swimming pool for relaxation. The hotel offers over 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor banqueting space, ideal for corporate gatherings and social events.

Jamshedpur, set between the Subarnarekha and Kharkai rivers, is Jharkhand’s largest city. It is a major manufacturing hub and the industrial capital of the state.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have two hotels across the Vivanta and Ginger brands in Jharkhand.
