A fire erupted on Monday at the Park Hyatt hotel in Hyderabad’s upscale Banjara Hills locality, where members of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) IPL team were staying. The blaze began in the spa section situated on the third floor of the luxury hotel.
PANIC AVERTED
Reportedly, timely action by the hotel staff helped bring the fire under control quickly, preventing it from spreading further. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported, and the property sustained no major damage.
HYATT’S TAKE ON THE FIRE
Official statement given by the Hyatt India spokesperson was as follows: “A fire incident occurred at the hotel earlier today in the steam sauna room. Our emergency response team promptly contained the situation, and there were no injuries reported. The safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. We are committed to providing a safe experience to ensure all necessary measures are in place. Furthermore, we would also like to clarify that the SRH team has not evacuated the hotel; they left as scheduled for their away match in Mumbai.”
