Disney Cruise Line is making waves in India with the debut of “Gateway to Adventure” – a consumer activation showcasing the Disney Adventure, which will be the cruise line’s first ship to homeport in Singapore at the end of this year.
Public experience at Jio World Drive
Opening to the public from June 14, 2025, at Jio World Drive mall in Mumbai, India, “Gateway to Adventure” will be a free-to-enter experience that invites guests of all ages to explore interactive zones inspired by the Disney Adventure’s seven themed areas – which bring to life Disney, Pixar, and Marvel favorites. The “Gateway to Adventure” at Jio World Drive is open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM with free admission and will continue until July 6, 2025.
Entering the “Gateway to Adventure”
The activation spaces, located on the ground floor and first floor of the mall, will provide guests with a sneak peek into the experiences available on the Disney Adventure.
Immersive attractions inspired by the ship
At “Gateway to Adventure”, guests can look forward to exploring an installation inspired by the three-story high storybook castle located in the ship’s Disney Imagination Garden. There will also be a life-sized Iron Man replica at Marvel Landing – which, on the ship, is a designated adventure zone that houses three all-new attractions onboard.
Town Square, which celebrates Disney royals on the Disney Adventure, comes to life as an Instagram-worthy spot here. Guests will also have the opportunity to discover more about the Big Hero 6 family entertainment area located on San Fransokyo Street.
More photo opportunities and themed areas
More photo opportunities will be available at Jio World Drive mall’s TGCO Monsoon Hangar, featuring the iconic Disney Cruise ship’s funnel along with other photogenic spaces inspired by Toy Story Place, Wayfinder Bay, and the Disney Discovery Reef.
A Marvel comic for cruise guests
Today, Disney Cruise Line also announced that in celebration of the inaugural season of the Disney Adventure, Marvel Comics will be publishing a new Special Edition of Amazing Adventures #1 — an all-original 32-page collectors’ comic featuring Spider-Man, the Avengers, and a host of Marvel’s finest Super Heroes – many who will be found onboard the ship.
