At the age of 6 where kids indulge in innocent shenanigans, there was one child who dreamed of spatulas and a big kitchen. Thai Chef Yenjai developed a love and keen interest in Thai Cuisine at the tender age of 6. She would stand next to her mother in days of her childhood and observe her and help her with cooking for hours in the kitchen. After having completed her schooling, without much ado, she took her first step towards being a successful Chef with all the zeal and determination. She started as a kitchen helper at Hotel Amari, Phuket. Before setting her ground on the Indian soil, she gave a taste of her delightful recipes to various connoisseurs of food at the reputed restaurants of Dusit Thani, JW Marriott, Novotel, Renaissance and Banyan Tree.

Chef Yenjai has prepared and designed the new menu at Neung Roi from the four culinary regions of Thailand- Isan, Lanna, Central and South keeping all the intricate details intact. She is insistent on being hands-on and successfully perfects the art of combining the best traditions of Thai cooking.
