Ministry of Tourism appoints Rupinder Brar, IRS as Additional Director General (Tourism)

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ms Rupinder Brar, IRS  as  the new Additional Director General (Tourism), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India with immediate effect at Joint Secretary level for a tenure of five years or until further orders, vice Ms Meenakshi Sharma IAAS.

Ms Rupinder Brar is 1990 batch Income Tax officer of Indian Revenue Service. Prior to this she was served as the Commissioner of Income Tax and Member of the Dispute Resolution Panel, looking in to Transfer Pricing and International Tax issues at Mumbai.
