While Lubrizol Corporation is a provider of specialty chemicals for transportation, industrial and consumer markets, it also manufactures FlowGuard® pipe and fittings made from a specialty plastic known chemically as chlorinated polyvinylchloride (CPVC). The pipes are not just tough enough to survive all seasons, they are also simple to install.

Lubrizol produces and sells CPVC compounds to licensed manufacturers of FlowGuard pipe and fittings, which utilise solvent cemented joints and are available from ½1/2″ to 12″. They are produced according to a wide range of international standards including ASTM F439 (schedule 80 fittings), ASTM F441 (schedule 40 and 80 pipe), ASTM D2846 (copper tube size pipe and fittings) and EN ISO 15877.
