The Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield is excited to introduce Girish Pawan Kumar Agoor as its new Director of Engineering, bringing with him over 17 years of extensive experience. Prior to this role, Girish successfully led engineering teams at renowned hotel chains like Park Hyatt Chennai, where he served as Director of Engineering from September 2019.
His impressive journey includes pivotal roles as Chief Engineer at Leela Palace New Delhi and Udaipur, and a progressive climb from Assistant Engineer to Senior Engineer at Taj Coromandel, Chennai. Girish’s expertise extends beyond overseeing critical engineering operations to include meticulous project planning and execution, encompassing hotel renovations, lighting design changes, and advanced systems like BMS and HVAC modifications.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Operations from Indira Gandhi National Open University, a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and instrumentation from Anna University, and certifications such as Energy Manager from BEE and Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18001, along with firefighting management training.
