Standing tall among the world’s best
Meininger’s International Spirits Award (ISW), Germany recognised DeVANS GianChand Manshaa with a Grand Gold. Out of 450 spirits, only 11 received this honour.
DeVANS GianChand Manshaa, the only Indian whisky to receive this distinction, was also bestowed the most fiercely contested Best International Whisky of the Year title, surpassing entries from top whisky-producing countries like Scotland, Ireland, America, and Germany. GianChand Manshaa truly shone this year, showcasing the quality and sophistication of Indian spirits on the global stage.
A peated expression that captivated global judges
DeVANS GianChand Manshaa, the latest expression from DeVANS, is the company’s first peated single malt. It captured the attention of the international jury with its “long medicinal peat smoke, perfectly framed by citrus and spicy flavours.” Noted international expert and author of Whisky Bible, Jim Murray, praised it for its “charming smokiness, with peat in sparkling form.”
