137-year-old PAUL debuts in Bengaluru

The iconic French bakery brings 137 years of Parisian café culture to the city.

PAUL has debuted in Bengaluru with the opening of its first outlet at Orion Gateway Mall, Rajajinagar. This marks the brand’s eighth store in India and introduces an authentic taste of France to the city.

Known worldwide for its artisanal breads, viennoiseries, patisserie, and classic French café culture, PAUL brings to Bengaluru a refined European dining experience. Located along the serene lakeside promenade, the café features an elegant alfresco-inspired setting reminiscent of Parisian street-side cafés.

Designed as a destination for every occasion—from leisurely breakfasts and mid-day coffee breaks to weekend brunches, client meetings, and quiet solo indulgences—it brings the timeless European café lifestyle to the heart of the city.

A menu rooted in French tradition, crafted for today’s palate

The Bengaluru menu showcases PAUL’s signature French classics such as croque monsieur, quiche Lorraine, savoury crêpes, canelés, and its celebrated range of artisan breads, flaky viennoiseries, refined tarts, and indulgent pastries. Complementing these are European-inspired offerings including Napoletana pizzas, crisp tartines, handmade pastas, risottos, fresh salads, wholesome bowls, and gourmet sandwiches.

Every dish is prepared using premium ingredients sourced from trusted partners locally and internationally. Upholding its clean label philosophy, PAUL ensures all offerings are free from palm oil, artificial colours, and additives.

Leadership perspective on the Bengaluru launch

“Rooted in France and shaped over 137 years, PAUL embodies the French art de vivre through time-honoured craftsmanship and authenticity. Today, with a presence across 57 countries, Bengaluru becomes part of that enduring journey,” said David Yang, Chief Executive Officer, PAUL APAC.

Adding to this, Vaibhav Kaushish, Chief Operating Officer, PAUL India, shared, “We are thrilled to open our first outlet in Bengaluru at Orion Gateway Mall, a significant milestone in PAUL’s India journey. At PAUL, we remain committed to using only the finest ingredients, free from palm oil, artificial colours, and additives. Guided by our philosophy of Eat Well Live Well, we champion wellness, sustainability, and mindful indulgence. Our core offerings such as hot chocolate, pain au chocolat, viennoiseries, and croissants continue to define the brand’s authentic appeal. We look forward to sharing the joy of French culinary excellence with Bengaluru, one croissant at a time.”
