KBC Food Festival at DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad offering a royal culinary experience

The 10-days festival (from 13th May to 22nd May 2022) takes you on a culinary tour of the royal gharana food from all over the Indian subcontinent on one table

DoubleTree by Hilton Ahmedabad is celebrating the rich flavours of our forgotten recipes and ingredients during the KBC – Festival of India, a 10-day extravaganza from 13th May to 22nd May 2022 at our restaurant Wave.

The elaborate menu has been curated by Chef Akshay Katti and his team, after extensive research on various spices from the ancient lanes of Lucknow city. The team has brought back the glory of all ancient methods of cooking, from earthen pots to sil batta, to savour the classic flavours from Harappan Civilisation to Aryawat.

Planned to the minutest details along with Food and Beverage Manager Sanjeev Jaiswal, this gourmet experience is complemented by the décor and classic Indian music. The lip smacking spread presents an array of exotic gourmet kebabs, along with their best appropriate dips, each made to enhance the taste buds of your palette. Zafran-e-Paneer Tikka, Palak Anjeer Kebab, Malai Black Pepper Broccoli, Tandoori Mimbu Jhinga are some of the kebabs cooked traditionally by their expert chefs.

The biryanis are cooked with the most aromatic spices and succulent of the meats layered in most flavoursome long grain Basmati rice to excite your taste buds. All of these are paired with some of the most flavoursome curries of India like, Paneer Nazakat Korma, Nadru Palak Curry, Kumbh Matar Lazeej and many more.

Located on the upper lobby level, Wave, is the signature all-day dining restaurant featuring an eclectic mix of Indian, Asian, and Western cuisine. Live interactive kitchens here serve buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
