Oxford of the East gets a new Lemon Tree hotel

The new property will feature 117 keys, a restaurant, a bar, a meeting room, banquet facilities, a swimming pool, and a spa

Lemon Tree Hotels announced its latest signing—Lemon Tree Hotel, Pune, which will open in FY 2026. The 117-key property shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. The hotel will also feature a restaurant, a bar, a meeting room, banquet facilities, a swimming pool, and a spa. The Lemon Tree Hotel Pune is about 21 km from Pune International Airport and 20 km from Pune Railway Station.

Pune is one of the major cities of Maharashtra and is known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and modern development. It is often called Oxford of the East because of its numerous prestigious educational institutions, including Savitribai Phule Pune University, Fergusson College, Symbiosis International University, and various engineering and management colleges. Pune boasts a youthful, cosmopolitan atmosphere that blends traditional Maharashtrian and modern urban lifestyles. With a combination of history, education, industry, and culture, it is one of India’s most dynamic cities.
