From Pahalgam to Bhaktapur, ITC Hotels’ expansion story

...in FY 2024-25, strengthens its footprint across 65+ cities with 78 hotels across India and Nepal.

Fortune, a member of ITC’s hotel group, completed another successful year of expansion by adding new hotel signings and openings in Financial Year 2024-25. The newly opened and upcoming properties are strategically spread across emerging markets and key destinations, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to the upscale and midmarket segments, especially in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

During the year, Fortune opened six new hotels across India in Pahalgam, Puri, Chennai, Candolim (Goa), Palampur (Himachal Pradesh), and Ekta Nagar (Gujarat), along with its first international hotel in Nepal at Bhaktapur. The latest signings will further amplify the brand’s presence in cities such as Goa, Kolkata, Chennai, Rishikesh, Indore, Bhimtal, Mukteshwar, Gorakhpur, Mohali, Surat, and Ayodhya.

As of 31st March 2025, Brand Fortune boasts a portfolio of 78 hotels, including 56 operational properties across India and Nepal, and 22 hotels in the pipeline.

With these developments, Fortune Hotels now has alliances in over 65 cities across India and Nepal.

Notable recent signings

  • Fortune Arambol Goa
    A hotel in North Goa, this will be Fortune’s fourth property in the state. Located near Arambol Beach, Kerim Beach, Terekhol Fort, and Mandrem Beach, it caters to both business and leisure travellers entering Goa from Maharashtra.
  • Fortune Select OMR Chennai
    Located in Karapakkam, this upscale business hotel features premium rooms and suites, a spa, swimming pool, banquet spaces, and vibrant F&B offerings. It’s set in the bustling IT and commercial corridor between Thoraipakkam and Sholinganallur.
  • Fortune EM Bypass Kolkata
    The brand’s second hotel in Kolkata and sixth in West Bengal, this property is located just off the EM Bypass and near top speciality hospitals, making it a convenient choice for a wide spectrum of travellers.
  • Fortune Park Indore
    The first Fortune hotel in Madhya Pradesh, located at the heart of Indore’s commercial hub. It aims to serve business guests and pilgrims visiting the nearby Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, with upscale amenities and versatile event spaces.
  • Fortune Park Mukteshwar
    Set in the picturesque Satbunga area of Mukteshwar, this upscale hill retreat offers stunning Himalayan views and is accessible from Nainital, Haldwani, and Delhi — perfect for a peaceful escape or intimate celebrations.
  • Fortune Park Surat
    Located in Piplod, this upcoming hotel will be Fortune’s 10th in Gujarat. Surat, identified as the first growth hub under the Special Economic Region initiative, is emerging as a centre for tourism, agri-tech, and the chemical industry.
