IHG Hotels unveils its next wave of global luxury openings

From London to Dubai, IHG Hotels & Resorts expands its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio with stunning new destinations opening through 2026.

IHG Hotels luxury and lifestyle portfolio marks the first Six Senses in the UK and continues the brand’s urban awakening. Setting a different rhythm for the city, Six Senses London will foster a unique community of residents, hotel guests, and friends of Six Senses Place alike. The atmosphere is social, but connections are never forced.

The property will include the first-ever Six Senses Place – a private space designed for guests and members to relax, connect, and engage in wellness and learning experiences, both individually and collectively. Six Senses London is located within the restored Whiteley building, near Hyde Park. The design blends contemporary elements with the site’s Art Deco heritage, creating spaces that reflect natural light and movement while preserving the character of the historic structure.

On the ground floor, Whiteley’s Kitchen, Bar, and Café will serve locally sourced food with seasonal menus. The hotel will feature 109 rooms and suites, along with 14 Six Senses residences, designed in calming tones with natural elements. The Six Senses Spa will offer a range of wellness treatments that combine modern technology with traditional practices.

Six Senses Milan, Italy

Opening Winter 2026

Six Senses Milan adds to the brand’s Italian footprint following the debut opening in Rome in 2023. Located in the city’s creative Brera quarter, it will serve as both an epicentre and an escape from Milan’s high-energy pace.

Interiors celebrate Milanese craftsmanship, blending arabescato marble, antique brass, handmade glass, and mosaic borders to infuse historical charm with a modern sensibility.

The property’s 85 accommodations include suites with plunge pools and terraces. A specialty restaurant and deli will serve nourishing, seasonal dishes, and two bars – including one rooftop – will set the scene for relaxed socializing.

Within the signature Six Senses Spa, warm-hearted therapists will blend ancient wisdom with modern science. Facilities include a 15-meter pool, saunas, steam rooms, and a rooftop pool. Sustainability remains core with an Earth Lab dedicated to eco-friendly initiatives.


Six Senses AMAALA, Saudi Arabia

Opening Spring/Summer 2026

Deriving from the Arabic word for hope and the Sanskrit word for purity, Six Senses AMAALA at Triple Bay will embody Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Integrated into unique landforms, beachfront residences and hillside villas blend natural beauty with sustainable design.

With 64 rooms, six suites, 30 villas, and 25 branded residences, the resort will reflect traditional coastal villages and offer sweeping views of Hijaz Cove and the Red Sea.

Six Senses Dubai The Palm, UAE

Opening Spring/Summer 2026

Crafted between sand and sea, Six Senses Palm Jumeirah will mark the brand’s UAE debut. The LEED-certified 61-room hotel and 172 branded residences sit along a private beach, inspired by coral reefs and the ecosystems they support.

Its architecture mirrors the organic forms of coral, offering shaded yet open environments with Gulf and skyline views. The project aligns with Dubai’s sustainability goals and positions Six Senses as a benchmark for wellness and community engagement.

Regent Jeddah Corniche, Saudi Arabia

Opening Winter 2026

The first Regent hotel in the Middle East will redefine luxury along Jeddah’s Corniche. Rising 29 stories, it offers 182 rooms and five penthouses, each with Red Sea views.

Home to the inaugural Regent Spa, the 1,500-square-meter space includes indoor and outdoor pools and a health club. Regent Jeddah is set to become an iconic landmark for the region.

Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya, Mexico
