Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) signed a new hotel in Gurugram, Haryana. The greenfield project will be branded as Taj.
Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, stated, “Gurugram’s strategic location, coupled with its proximity to industrial corridors and Delhi-NCR, has made it a thriving commercial hub. This new development will offer a premium experience that will cater to diverse segments, including MICE and weddings. We are delighted to partner with Tivoli Group to develop this hotel.”
The hotel will feature 225 spacious guest rooms and suites, along with a host of dining facilities, which includes an all-day diner, a bar, a speciality restaurant, and a multipurpose lounge. Additionally, the hotel will boast extensive banqueting and meeting facilities and recreational amenities such as a gym, a spa, a swimming pool, and a social garden.
Armaan Gupta, Executive Director of Tivoli Group, said, “We are excited to partner with IHCL for this project. Taj at Sohna Road will cater to the growing demand for luxury hospitality experiences.”
Gurugram, with its strategic location near NCR, has catalysed its transformation into a corporate hub, attracting BPOs, IT companies, and multinational corporations.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have six hotels in Haryana, including two under development.
