Hilton brings first DoubleTree hotel to Singapore

Opening in 2026, the 344-key Robertson Quay property marks a key partnership between Aravest, Hilton, and Wee Hur Property.

Aravest, Hilton and Wee Hur Property Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Wee Hur Holdings have announced a strategic agreement to bring the DoubleTree by Hilton brand to Singapore. The reimagined Hotel Miramar at Robertson Quay will feature 344 keys and mark the brand’s debut in Singapore, combining Hilton’s hospitality expertise with Aravest’s investment strategy and Wee Hur’s development legacy.

A new life for an iconic property

Scheduled to open in 2026, the property will undergo a comprehensive upgrade, revitalizing guestrooms, dining areas, and meeting spaces, along with a new kids’ club and pickleball courts. The enhancements aim to elevate the arrival experience while maintaining the comfort and warmth synonymous with the DoubleTree brand.

Strategic partnerships and shared vision

Moses K Song, CEO of Aravest, stated that the acquisition marks the company’s first entry into Singapore’s hospitality sector, highlighting confidence in Singapore’s strong tourism and commercial potential. Maria Ariizumi, Vice President of Development, Hilton South East Asia, emphasized Hilton’s experience in successful hotel conversions, while Goh Chengyu, CEO of Wee Hur Property, noted the partnership’s commitment to redefining hospitality standards in Robertson Quay.

Strengthening Hilton’s Singapore portfolio

The opening will expand Hilton’s Singapore pipeline to over 500 rooms, including the upcoming NoMad Singapore. For Aravest and Wee Hur, the collaboration reinforces a shared mission to enhance Singapore’s hospitality landscape through sustainable redevelopment and strategic global alliances.
