Clarissa Group has announced the opening of Clarissa Resort & Spa Mukteshwar in Nainital. It is the Clarissa Group’s first five-star property, designed to provide guests with modern comforts alongside sweeping 180-degree views of the Himalayas.
Situated at a short distance from the Mukteshwar Temple and Bathalia Market, Clarissa Resort & Spa Mukteshwar embeds ultra-luxury aesthetics with advanced tech solutions throughout the property. The group has continued the web check-in facility that it introduced with Clarissa Resort Adventure & Spa, Jim Corbett, in 2021.

The newly launched ultra-luxury property boasts two dining options: a fine dining restaurant and a café. It also features a conference and banquet hall for events and game zones for the enjoyment of both children and adults. In line with its luxury positioning, every room comes equipped with high-end amenities such as a Swedish sauna and spa, Jacuzzis, and electric fireplaces in each room.
Delighted with the launch, Ashish Dilwali, CMD, and Harshal Dilwali, Director and CEO of Clarissa Group, said, “At Clarissa, we are centred around delivering unique guest experiences. The launch of Clarissa Resort & Spa demonstrates our commitment to blending comfort with luxury that allows guests to unwind their minds amid the lush greenery and scenic landscapes of Mukteshwar. We look forward to creating a space where guests can truly immerse themselves in the tranquillity of the Himalayas.”
The resort is within easy reach of the town’s most popular attractions. It is a five-minute drive from the Mukteshwar Temple and close to renowned waterfalls and trails. The property is intended to serve as both a leisure destination and a venue for events such as weddings and corporate gatherings.

Optimistic about the launch, Harshal Dilwali, Director & CEO of Clarissa Group—Clarissa Resorts & Hotels, said, “The opening of Clarissa Resort & Spa Mukteshwar adds a new layer of luxury to our Clarissa Group’s portfolio. This marks a milestone for the group as we expand into the five-star segment, capitalising on modern sophistication with nature’s beauty. Our goal is to create memorable stays for our guests, offering them the perfect balance of opulence and relaxation in the scenic landscapes of the Himalayas.”
Clarissa Group, the parent company of Clarissa Hotels & Resorts, already has two properties: a four-star luxury Clarissa Resort Adventure & Spa, Jim Corbett, with 51 rooms, and Clarissa Resort, Goa, with 16 luxury rooms.
