Akasa Air, India’s fastest-growing airline, received delivery of its 27th aircraft, continuing its exceptional expansion. The delivery journey began in Seattle, USA, and concluded at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, India, on 29 January 2025.

Akasa’s fleet has expanded significantly in a short span, marking the delivery of its 27th aircraft in just 30 months of operations. The airline aims to become one of the top 30 global airlines by the end of this decade, further solidifying its position in the market.

A Milestone Order

Since its launch, Akasa Air has grown rapidly, placing landmark orders for Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with 226 aircraft in its order book within 17 months. The 737 MAX offers greater range, fuel efficiency, and reduced carbon emissions, reaffirming Akasa’s commitment to sustainability.

Operational Leadership and Customer Satisfaction

With a focus on punctuality and customer service, Akasa has become a preferred carrier, serving over 15 million passengers. It now connects 22 domestic cities and five international destinations, including Mumbai, Chennai, Doha, and Riyadh.
