Czech designer and producer Sans Souci, renowned for creating tailor-made decorative lighting fixtures, glass objects and architecture features for projects around the world, elevates the Mandarin Oriental Palace in Luzern, Switzerland.

Sans Souci chose classic designs for the iconic belle époque landmark in the heart of Switzerland. Two bold bespoke lighting installations from Bowls and Frozen collections, specially made for the newly renovated luxury presidential suite at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, located on the shore of the eponymous lake.

The brand created these two exquisite installations working closely with Jestico +
Whiles, to accentuate the already marvellous interior of the presidential suite, best
characterised as contemporary elegance with a touch of Swiss heritage. The first fixture based on our Bowls collection serves as a centrepiece for the dining room area, forming a wave of light made of sleek hand-blown crystal glass components, each finished with a rose gold nanocoating that artfully reflects the light and exquisitely matches the dark wood panelling of the room.

The second fixture made of delicate hand-blown crystal glass petals in pearl haze
colour constitutes a dominant feature of the entire space, hovering with ease over
the uniquely oval-shaped living area. The ethereal design is inspired from their
Frozen collection, creating a dramatic yet seemingly fragile formation reminiscent
of icy snowflakes falling to the ground.
