Pune Gas transforms kitchen infrastructure at Taj Vivanta, Tawang

Pioneers in providing best-in-class service and most innovative products, Pune Gas is making an impact by providing solutions for industrial and commercial users of gas.

Founded in 1986, with the aim of providing solutions for industrial and commercial users of gas, Pune Gas (formerly known as Pune Gasparts and Services Private Limited) is a leader in storage systems and equipment for fuels, especially LPG. Jaisinh Sampat, MD of Pune Gas, started Pune Gas as a small business selling spare parts and other LPG equipment mainly for domestic use. His legacy of four decades is now being carried ahead by his son Jesal Sampat who is Executive Director of Pune Gas. This father-son duo has made Pune Gas a pioneer in turn-key gas projects as most companies which supply LPG and Natural Gas do not supply the systems or products needed to efficiently use the gas.

With a gradual shift to cleaner fuels globally, LPG and PNG are the preferred fuels for many industries due to their efficiency as well as cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness. Pune Gas provides solutions right from the installation to the servicing and maintenance for the industries.

The company takes pride in their technicians who are trained in all technical aspects of gas engineering and safety standards. From four members in 1986 to the current team of 120 members, the Pune Gas family is constantly growing. Each member of the team has strong theoretical and practical knowledge of gas and energy while each project leader is equipped with a minimum of 1000 hours of gas industry experience. The entire team of Pune Gas is well versed with global best practices and follows a standard operating procedure that is followed at all levels of business.

India is the third highest consumer of LPG in the world and has the widest coverage with 99.4% of the country using LPG. Pune Gas serves customers from various industries like automotive and auto ancillary, food production and dairy, engineering and metals, chemicals and pharmaceutical, hospitality and commercial cooking, and food service. Headquartered in Pune, they have branches in NCR, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Nagpur while their services reach the remotest corners of India. From the technical design of the pipeline network to pipeline installation, flow measurement, pressure regulation and periodic testing of the LPG pipeline network, Pune Gas designs end-to-end solutions to provide value-added services to help you run your gas fuel system better. Apart from its product offerings, Pune Gas also aims to impart knowledge and technical information to customers and other stakeholders in the LPG industry to help them understand and select the right products and solutions.

In the immediate future, they plan to tap the market in other regions of the country as well as global Asian and African markets with countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the UAE, Oman, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, etc.

In its journey spanning 36 years, Pune Gas has served a wide clientele including Vedanta, Tata, Mahindra, ITC, Bajaj, Asian Paints, Godrej, MRF, Exide, Nestle, Britannia, Toyota, Kirloskar, Bosch, Serum Institute of India, Bharat Forge, Haldirams, Tetra Pak, etc., tapping various industries right from food & beverages and cosmetics to chemicals, automotive, ceramic and pottery, agriculture, rubber, textile, and cremation.
