New Sheraton Hotel Opens Its Doors in Stamford

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. yesterday announced that its iconic Sheraton brand has opened a new flagship hotel in Stamford, Connecticut. Sheraton Stamford Hotel features all the brand’s signature offerings including its new Sweet Sleeper bedding, Club Lounge, Link@Sheraton(R) experienced with Microsoft(R), Link Cafe and Sheraton Fitness programmed by Core Performance. The hotel boasts an ideal downtown location, proximate to shopping, restaurants and the train station, providing a short trip to New York City.

The Sheraton Stamford Hotel is one of more than 60 new hotels and over 20,000 rooms the company expects to be added to the Sheraton portfolio over the next three years as part of a multi-year strategic expansion plan.

Owned by a joint venture between RockBridge Partners, an affiliate of RockBridge Capital, LLC, and affiliates of Davidson Hotels & Resorts, Sheraton Stamford Hotel underwent an extensive, multi-million dollar renovation in recent months, resulting in a full makeover to the lobby, restaurant and an upgrade to all guestrooms in order to meet the new Sheraton brand standards.
