Hotel Price Index report by Hotels.com unveils its top ten list of favourite overseas and domestic destinations for Indian travellers in 2011

The latest Hotel Price Index report by Hotels.com has revealed that Asian holiday spots dominate the top ten list of favourite overseas destinations for Indian travellers. Singapore has retained its place as the most popular, ahead of Bangkok which is second on the list. London is the only European destination that features in the top ten. Other non-Asian destinations that made the list are New York, Las Vegas and Dubai.

The report also showed that metro cities dominate in the top Indian destinations for domestic and overseas travellers, with New Delhi coming out on top for both lists. Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad are other popular cities. As well as metros, Jaipur and Goa also feature in the top ten.
