Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore serves the needy with ‘Give With Oakwood’ initiative

Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore launched a campaign titled ‘Give With Oakwood’ last month, which is a global campaign designed to spread kindness and compassion to the vulnerable members of the society. The two-month long initiative will make a contribution towards the community with every reservation made at the property.

As a reflection of this commitment to caring for its guests, associates and the communities it serves, Oakwood has localized its outreach by identifying partners that best serve the needs of each destination in a direct and most impactful manner.

In South India, where rice is a staple, Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore has donated bags of rice with every direct booking received. The Property has joined hands with World Vision India and has donated 100 KG of rice already.

“Through the recent series of world events, there have been many whose livelihoods have been impacted and made uncertain. To support these impoverished communities, Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore is committed to the initiative “Give With Oakwood”. With every direct booking made at the property between 8 June and 7 August 2020, we honor to give something back in our own little way.  This is our commitment to provide relief to people to our local community through something meaningful,” said Wajeed Bagwan, GM, Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore.

“The response from our guests has been overwhelming. We have had guests donate voluntarily and write heartfelt messages on their contribution of rice bags,” he added.
