Venkat Bhuvaneswaran joins Fairfield by Marriott Vadodara as the new Hotel
Manager. Venkat’s 23 years of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry is characterised by keen business acumen, a people-focused management style, and intuitive leadership.
Venkat began his career in 2001 in Food & Beverage operations at The Park Bengaluru as a trainee, progressing to roles in catering and event sales by 2009 at the Hyderabad International Convention Center (HICC). In 2014, he joined The Westin Chennai as Account Director of corporate sales, where his sales & marketing efforts significantly boosted the team’s revenue and in 2021, he was also elevated to the position of Director of Sales & Marketing.
A results-driven professional, Venkat excels in pragmatic problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail. He attributes his success to hard work and effective collaborations with team members and associates.
In his new role at Fairfield By Marriott Vadodara, Venkat aims to enhance all operational departments, aligning the team towards operational excellence and superior guest experiences while identifying new revenue opportunities. He is known for his calm demeanour, effective team management, and guest-centric approach, which will be crucial in maintaining stellar guest satisfaction, promoting team engagement, and developing effective sales strategies.
An alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management Chennai, Venkat completed his MBA in 2016 from the Indian Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI). With a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality, Venkat is well-poised to elevate the hotel’s reputation as a premier choice for business and leisure travellers.
