Le Meridien Kochi appointed Satish Srinivasamurthy as the General Manager of the hotel. With a career spanning 23 years with many reputed hotel brands, Satish brings with him a strong understanding of the hospitality landscape.
He began his career with food and beverage at The Oberoi Bengaluru in 1999, which was followed by overseas stints in the Bahamas and Switzerland. Later, he went on to work with The Claridges Surajkund and Hyatt Pune. Satish’s journey with Marriot International began in 2013 as the F&B Manager at Courtyard by Marriot Chennai. He then served as the Director of F&B at The Westin Velachery and Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa. He assumed the role of Hotel Manager at the Four Points by Sheraton Mahabalipuram Resort & Convention Centre in 2021. Under his leadership, the property has excelled in year-on-year growth in all the financial matrices, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement. He was elevated to the position of General Manager in 2023, where he successfully opened Katra Marriot Resort & Spa.
Satish, a postgraduate from IMI Luzerne, is a motorcycle enthusiast and has done numerous tours across the country. While not at work, he is likely to be found playing a game of chess with his daughter Isha and wife Payal.
