With an extensive background in hotel engineering, Manikandan has held pivotal positions at some of the industry’s renowned properties. As the Director of Engineering at Taj Yeshwantpur and Shangri-La Bengaluru, where he was a key part of the pre-opening team, he demonstrated a proven track record of elevating hotel operations through large-scale projects and seamless pre-opening phases. His earlier experience also includes roles as an Engineering Executive at Hilton Bengaluru Residences and Shift Engineer at The Leela Palace.

He is widely recognized for his innovative initiatives, which include installing IoT-based building management systems, launching energy-saving projects, and commissioning an in-house water bottling plant to significantly reduce single-use plastics.
