Clarks Exotica Convention Resort & Spa has promoted Varun Sharma as its new Director of Operations. He holds a Bachelors BSc in hotel and hospitality administration from Mumbai’s IHMCTAN and also completed Taj Management Training Program. He later completed his MBA in Hospitality Management from NIM, Mumbai. He was formerly the Director of Food & Beverages at Clarks Exotica and joined Clarks Exotica as an executive chef in 2014, where he was responsible for improving the food and beverage production and service standards since then.
Talking about his promotion, Sharma said, “Over the last 13 years, I have closely worked with the various departments in the hospitality industry which has helped me understand the various intricacies that we face operationally. We will now focus on creating an environment for our staff to continuously improve and deliver flawless execution of services to our guests.”
