53rd FHRAI annual convention to be held at Lucknow

The 53rd Federation of Hotels & Restaurant Association of India’s (FHRAI) annual convention will be held at the Ramada Lucknow Hotel & Convention Centre from 20th to 22nd September, 2018.

Organised under the theme ‘Spiritual & Wellness Tourism’, the convention offers delegates from across the country an opportunity to network with policy makers, industry professionals, leading entrepreneurs, global experts and representatives from the civil society. Around 1200 delegates from India and abroad are expected to attend this event, which includes prominent hoteliers and major stakeholders from the tourism and hospitality Industry.

Garish Oberoi, president, FHRAI said, “The 53rd FHRAI annual convention is an interactive and action platform for the hospitality industry to brainstorm on various policies and programmes affecting the sector.”

The association also revealed the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, will inaugurate this event. Alphonse Kannanthanam, Minister of State (IC) for Tourism, Government of India; Rita Bahuguna Joshi, Minister of Tourism, Uttar Pradesh government; Avanish Awasthi, secretary, Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh will be the guests of honour for various days.

The convention serves as a platform to showcase contemporary trends, technologies and international best practices in the rapidly growing hospitality industry. The convention will end on the 22nd September, 2018 with chief guest Rashmi Verma, secretary, Tourism, Government of India, conferring the FHRAI Hospitality Awards to top achievers from the tourism and hospitality industry.
