OYO has released its International Summer Holidays Travelopedia 2025, revealing a 65% year-on-year rise in Indian bookings for destinations with relaxed visa requirements. Dubai, Bali, and Bangkok top the list, driven by improved air connectivity, simplified visa policies, and a demand for premium travel experiences. OYO currently operates 50 premium hotels across these regions, including 23 in Southeast Asia and 27 in the Middle East under its SUNDAY and Palette brands.
Dubai Leads, Bali Becomes Honeymoon Favourite
Dubai saw a 3X YoY growth in Indian bookings, largely from families and budget business travelers leveraging the five-year multiple-entry visa. Bali, on the other hand, has become a top choice for couples and honeymooners looking for romantic, beachside escapes.
Rising Demand for Premium Stays
Indian travelers are now choosing upscale accommodations. OYO’s Sunday and Palette properties are among the top preferences. In H1 2025 alone, 13 new premium hotels were added across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Standout properties include the Sunday Mega Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and Super OYO Townhouse Hotel Gunung Sahari in Jakarta.
