Minor Hotels has signed a deal for the Avani+ Fujairah Resort in the United Arab Emirates. The resort, slated to open in 2028, marks the debut of the Avani brand in Fujairah and represents its first resort in the UAE. This expansion is a significant step in Minor Hotels’ continued growth and strengthens its footprint in the Middle East, reflecting the growing appeal of the Avani brand in key leisure destinations.

Luxurious Accommodation and Scenic Location

The resort will be situated along the Gulf of Oman on Fujairah’s picturesque eastern coastline. Featuring 232 contemporary rooms and 16 spacious villas with three to five bedrooms, the property will cater to both families and couples. Select accommodations will offer private pools and direct lagoon access, providing an exclusive experience unique to the Fujairah hospitality scene.

A Partnership Built on Success

The development of the resort is in collaboration with Al Fahim, a well-respected family-owned conglomerate in the UAE, and a long-time partner of Minor Hotels. This new project follows the successful opening of Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites. Al Fahim’s hospitality investment arm, Emirates Property Investment Company (EPICO), continues to drive growth and innovation within the UAE’s real estate and hospitality sectors.

Enhancing the Avani Brand in Fujairah

William Heinecke, Chairman & Founder of Minor International, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “The signing of Avani+ Fujairah Resort is a key step in our continued growth across the Middle East reflecting the rising strength of the Avani brand. We’re pleased to expand our valued partnership with Al Fahim Group and bring new energy to one of the UAE’s most exciting destinations.”

A Perfect Fit for Fujairah’s Tourism Landscape

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Group CEO of Minor International, highlighted the alignment of Fujairah’s potential as a leisure destination with Avani’s commitment to stylish and experience-driven hospitality. The new resort will serve as a major addition to Fujairah’s tourism offerings and will bring a fresh and vibrant energy to the region.

A Resort Designed for All Types of Travellers

The Avani+ Fujairah Resort will feature a wide range of dining and leisure facilities, including an AvaniSpa, a rooftop grill, poolside bars, and signature dining concepts. Additional amenities will include an AvaniFit fitness centre, a swimming pool, and dedicated spaces for kids and teens. Business and bleisure travellers will benefit from MICE facilities, offering meeting rooms and event spaces for special occasions.

This new resort will provide a seamless blend of relaxation, recreation, and productivity, making it an ideal choice for a diverse range of travellers—from multi-generational families to professionals seeking a coastal escape.
