Amul marks the fifth anniversary of Simplehomemaderecipes, the world’s longest-running live cooking show. Launched in April 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 lockdown, the series has since been a global culinary movement. Offering chefs and home cooks a platform to share their skills, stories, and recipes, the show has gained a worldwide following.

With over 4,000 chefs, including Michelin Star Chefs and Thomas A. Gugler, Former President of Worldchefs, alongside home cooks from more than 50 countries, Simplehomemaderecipes celebrates culinary diversity.

Record-breaking reach and impact

Simplehomemaderecipes has achieved milestone with over 4.5 lakh minutes of curated content across five languages. The series has garnered 540 million minutes of viewership, demonstrating its immense appeal. Through the show’s interactive format, Amul’s customers have explored 6,170 recipes made with Amul Paneer, 5,420 delicacies using Amul Butter, 5,030 dishes with Amul Fresh Cream, and 5,010 treats using Amul Milk via Amul’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

To pay tribute to the chefs and home cooks who have contributed to the series, digital posters featuring these culinary talents will be displayed on digital billboards across Bangalore, Mumbai, and Delhi today.
