Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts is set to launch six new properties in 2025. The expansion includes three upscale resorts in Jawai, Tadoba, and Coorg, offering premium accommodations that seamlessly blend luxury with nature.
Strong Growth and Performance
Reflecting on its 2024 performance, the brand recorded over 8% occupancy year-to-date. With positive market momentum, the group aims for a minimum 10% revenue growth in 2025, alongside projected increases in Average Room Rate (ARR) and Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR).
Vision for Immersive Hospitality
“At Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts, our commitment to crafting memorable experiences drives every expansion initiative. As we step into 2025 with six new properties, our focus is on elevating guest experiences through curated stays in offbeat destinations,” said Shikhar Kumar, Managing Director, Stone Wood Hotels & Resorts.
Expansion Strategy and Asset-Light Model
Currently operating 16 properties across six states and 11 cities with over 500 rooms, the group’s expansion will add approximately 400 more keys. While traditionally focused on the mid-market segment, the brand now ventures into the upscale category, with the first luxury hotel expected to open by the end of the 2025-26 financial year.
Focus on Service Excellence and MICE Growth
Service excellence remains central to the brand, with consistent staff training, audits, and quality checks ensuring high guest satisfaction. The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) and wedding segments have emerged as key growth drivers, with properties designed to cater to these demands. Notably, the Aralea Beach Resort by Stone Wood Premier has seen 75% of its business from MICE and wedding clientele.
