A massive fire broke out on the roof of the Fairmont Hotel, located opposite the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, on Saturday afternoon. The blaze reportedly started at the rooftop facility of a restaurant situated on the 10th floor of the hotel, which is located in the Vile Parle (East) area, near Terminal 2 of the Mumbai airport.
NO CASUALTIES
As soon as the fire was reported, seven to eight fire engines were dispatched to the scene to combat the flames. Firefighters worked tirelessly to extinguish the blaze and prevent it from spreading further. So far, no casualties have been reported in connection with the fire, according to ANI.
