ITC Hotels to be delisted from Sensex & BSE Indices

ITC Hotels exits BSE Indices following AIPL announcement

Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Bengaluru.

ITC Hotels’ share price will be in the spotlight today as the stock is set to be removed from the Sensex and other BSE indices before trading begins.

The stock belongs to ITC Hotels, a demerged entity of ITC Ltd, which was separately listed on Indian stock exchanges on January 29.

Initially, ITC Hotels shares were temporarily included in the Sensex and other indices to facilitate portfolio rebalancing by passive funds.

STOCK DELISTED

However, as per a recent announcement by Asia Index Private Limited (AIPL) through Notice No: 20250203-49, the stock will be removed from all BSE indices before the market opened on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, provided it did not hit the lower circuit on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, by 2 PM.

Since ITC Hotels did not reach the lower circuit before the cut-off time, the company will be officially excluded from all BSE indices ahead of trading on February 5, 2025.

Operating across all hospitality segments, ITC Hotels Limited showcases a diverse portfolio of hotels through six vibrant brands – including ITC Hotels and Mementos in the luxury space, Welcomhotel in upper upscale, Storii in boutique premium experiential segment, Fortune in midscale and WelcomHeritage in heritage leisure.
