Hyatt Regency Pune has appointed Pankaj Wadhwa as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was earlier director-sales and marketing at Novotel Mumbai, Juhu Beach. Having spent a large portion of his 16-year career with the Hyatt Group of Hotels, he has also been associated with multiple Hyatt properties across Delhi and Mumbai, including, Hyatt Regency Mumbai, Intercontinental The Grand Mumbai and Grand Hyatt Delhi (currently Grand Delhi).
In his new role, Wadhwa will direct the function of sales, marketing, catering and events divisions at the property, providing strategic guidance to the team and the hotel. Additionally, he would be responsible for developing and managing the sales and operating budgets for the department, and overseeing the revenue and marketing of the rooms and banquets.
