This city will soon have its seventh Taj hotel

Spread across 14 acres of lush landscape, the 225+ key Taj Resort Bengaluru will be developed in collaboration with BCM Group and Rajesh Mehta

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of its seventh Taj hotel in Bengaluru.

Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, said, “This signing is in line with IHCL’s strategy of strengthening our presence in metro cities and catering to the growing demand for MICE and weddings. Bengaluru, as a major IT and business hub, offers an ideal setting for creating demand for leisure getaways and events within convenient driving distances from the city. We are excited to collaborate with BCM Group and Rajesh Mehta on this project and look forward to delivering the quintessential Taj experience.”

Spread across 14 acres of lush landscape, the 225+ key Taj resort features meticulously designed rooms strategically located near the city’s key destinations. Guests can indulge in a culinary journey at the all-day diner or the two speciality restaurants, or choose to unwind at the poolside or lounge bar. The hotel will offer a 20,000-square-foot ballroom with 11 versatile meeting rooms and other banqueting areas. For relaxation and rejuvenation, guests can explore the state-of-the-art gym, health club, swimming pool, and treatment rooms.

Bengaluru, known as the Silicon Valley of India, is a dynamic city that serves as the political and financial capital of Karnataka and is renowned for its technological innovation and economic growth. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 20 hotels in Karnataka, including seven under development.
