Seven IHCL hotels awarded for excellence

International Hospitality Day, organised by the International Hospitality Council (IHC) London in association with the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), honoured seven IHCL hotels from Chennai and Kochi.

Shilpa Rameja, General Manager of Taj Wellington Mews Chennai, received the Hospitality Rising Star of the Year Award for her outstanding leadership and contributions to the hospitality industry.

Two iconic restaurants, Southern Spice at Taj Coromandel Chennai and Match Point at Taj Wellington Mews Chennai, were honoured in the restaurants category. Award-winning Southern Spice, the South Indian speciality restaurant, is a culinary destination for food connoisseurs and gourmands from across the world, while Match Point is a multi-cuisine restaurant that offers a diverse array of culinary delights.

The International Hospitality Council recognised the best and brightest in the hospitality industry and 16 associates were recognised for their remarkable achievements even as they continue to set the standard for excellence in the hospitality industry in their respective cities. The hotels include Taj Coromandel Chennai, Taj Connemara Chennai, Taj Club House Chennai, Taj Fisherman’s Cove Resorts & Spa Chennai, Taj Wellington Mews Chennai, Vivanta IT Expressway Chennai, and Taj Malabar Resort & Spa, Kochi.
