HPMF (Hospitality Purchasing Manager’s Forum), a consortium of purchasing managers from the hospitality industry, will be celebrating its 14th anniversary, along with a convention and awards ceremony, from September 26th to 29th, 2024. In previous years, Cochin, Varanasi, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, and Mumbai were the venues of these three-day gala events.
Known for its successful and fascinating events, the HPMF fraternity, representing star hotels, catering companies, stand-alone restaurant chains, retail chains, and airlines, pulls out all the stops to put up an event worthy of its large fraternity. The ceremony in 2019 in Cochin was the talk of the country, with over 350 members, the press, and the bigwigs of the corporate world gracing the occasion.
This time, HPMF has fittingly chosen Lucknow and Ayodhya Dham to showcase their annual event. The theme of the event is the unique combination of business and a journey through the rich and timeless culture of the city of Shri Ram, as well as a glimpse of the famous Nawabi Tehzeeb.
Dr Nitin Shankar Nagrale, Founder and General Secretary of HPMF, says, “The delegates and all other participants will experience the magical journey of the life of Shri Ram and the rich heritage of Awadh through cultural shows, cuisine, visits to historical places, and the exotic display of ancient crafts. As always, well-organised B2B meets will be the highlight of the convention too, with over 40 vendors attending the event.”
The first of its kind, the annual Procurement Excellence Awards, conceived and rolled out in 2012 and now in its 12th year, will be the star of the event and looked forward to eagerly by the delegates and vendors to the industry. The honour and prestige associated with the awards are tremendous, as is the spectacular show that is a part of the event. This time, HPMF will also be honouring ‘Vendors to the Hospitality Industry’ to recognise their contribution to the industry and the procurement fraternity.
