IHG Hotels and Resorts signs Holiday Inn Prayagraj in collaboration with GPKP & Sons of Prayagraj. The agreement was signed at Holiday Inn Aerocity, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, on May 13, 2024. Sudeep Jain, MD of South West Asia at IHG Group, and Dr Ketan Srivastava and Ankit Raj Srivastava, partners at GPKP & Sons, signed the agreement.
The hotel will comprise 100 rooms with all the amenities of a four-star hotel, such as an all-day dining restaurant, a swimming pool, a bar, 6,000 square feet of meeting space with a banquet area of 5,000 square feet, along with pre-function space, a gymnasium and spa, and a rooftop restaurant.Â
The hotel will be designed by Gian P Mathur, a leading architect from Delhi. Anil Badan is the interior designer for the project. The hotel is currently in the construction phase and will commence operations in the third quarter of 2026. It will be the first branded chain hotel in Prayagraj and will cater to all the needs of the people coming to Prayagraj.
