Dr Sanjay Goyal, an inspirational leader in the sourcing and supply chain profession with over 25 years of rich and diversified experience in procurement, materials management, logistics, and operations control in the hospitality, restaurants, and FMCG industries, joins Foodlink Mumbai as Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in cost optimization, product development, and vendor relationship management. He has been invited to many institutes and forums as a guest speaker to share his vision of the future of procurement.
Being very passionate about his work, he takes great measures to build and nurture his team, create infrastructure, and build critical processes for the sustainable growth of the business.
Goyal holds important positions at various organizations: He was recently appointed to the Co-Chairmanship of the National Council on Tourism & Hospitality of ASSOCHAM. He is Founder and President of Pro Partners, a procurement consulting company. He is also serving as Vice President – SCM with Lite Bite Foods, a Dabur Group company. Prior to this, he worked as Vice President SCM with Del Monte, a Bharti Group Company; was an Associate Vice President with Speciality Restaurants Limited (Mainland China Group); and worked at Oberoi Group of Hotels for 13 years.
Goyal is one of the Founders and Vice Chairman of a professional forum called HPMF (Hospitality Purchasing Managers Forum).
Goyal is currently working on penning two books: ‘Progressive Procurement Practices’ and ‘Supply Chain To Value Chain’.
He has been recognized and awarded for his contributions to developing a sustainable supply chain culture and creating a strategic landscape aligned with the overall organizational vision.
