Conrad Hotels & Resorts has announced the promotion of Praveen Jayaram Shetty as the Director of Culinary of Conrad Bengaluru.
In his new role at Conrad Bengaluru Shetty will oversee the entire culinary operations. An addition to his existing responsibilities, he will work towards expanding the culinary canvas of Conrad Bengaluru by setting new concepts in the areas of outdoor catering, establishing cloud kitchens and curating year round concepts for festivities from the kitchens of Conrad.
Shetty has been an integral part of Conrad Bengaluru since the pre-opening stage. His passion towards food and beverage & dedication towards building great teams is admirable. He believes in keeping it original by sourcing the finest ingredients from origin markets across the world. He is passionate about adapting new global culinary techniques like “Pans to your Plate”, “Source Local Serve Global” and innovative plating and presentation.
He has been a role model, not only on his professional front but also towards his personal life as well. Shetty is a fitness enthusiast and encourages all his team members to imbibe fitness or rather wellness as a way of their life. He leads the Sundays Chefs run religiously along with many of his team members as well as guests of Conrad Bengaluru.
Shetty has been bestowed with various accolades recognizing his culinary craft in the last couple of years.
