Conrad Bengaluru proudly announces the launch of Clash of Chefs at Indian Durbar, an exquisite culinary celebration showcasing the vibrant flavours and unique culinary traditions from six distinct regions of India. From the regal kitchens of Lucknow to the rustic hills of Garhwal, from coastal delicacies of Digha to the traditional flavours of Cuttack and Odisha, Indian Durbar will pay homage and transport guests to the heart of India’s rich culinary landscape.
Renowned chefs have meticulously curated a diverse menu, each dish reflecting the essence of its region. Chef Qureshi presents the savoury Sasranga Gosht, paying homage to his father’s culinary legacy, while Chef Ranveer Singh brings the mountain flavours of his hometown to life with Aloo ki Thechwani. Chef Reyazuddin honours his mother’s cherished recipes with Dhuska, and Chef Goutham Ghorai shares the coastal culinary traditions he observed in street vendors through Roi Mach Rosa. Chef Aashiq showcases Jahni Posto, embodying the unique flavours of Odisha cuisine, and Chef Samim offers Kudrum Murgh, inspired by the traditional meals of Nagwa families.
The guests can experience the culinary extravaganza where vibrant flavours of India converge in a singular dining experience. One can partake in tantalizing accompaniments such as Poda Bilati and Tentuli Khatta, followed by an array of appetizers like the flavourful Mochar Chop—slow-cooked mashed banana stem infused with Bengali spices and indulge in the main course with the exquisite Roi Mach Rosa, featuring succulent Rohu fish marinated in turmeric and slow-cooked to perfection. Conclude the tantalising journey with decadent desserts like Mawa Pitha – rice flour stuffed mewa khoya slow-cooked with milk and finished with saffron and Chhena Gaj. This unforgettable dining experience promises to immerse the guests in the diverse landscapes of India through its rich and authentic flavours.
