JW Marriott Chandigarh announces the appointment of Kedar Mahajan as the director of finance, marking a significant addition to its esteemed leadership team. With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades in the finance domain within the hospitality industry, Kedar brings a distinguished track record to his new role.
He previously served at St. Regis Mumbai and various Marriott properties, as well as the Shangri-La Hotel. His expertise is underscored by his profound understanding of financial operations and strategic planning.
In his new capacity, Kedar will oversee all financial facets of the hotel, including accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial reporting, and purchasing. His tenure promises to usher in innovative finance structures while fostering a culture of mentorship and collaboration within the finance team.
